  Indoor Track Team Information Meeting

  Attention all 7th & 8th grade athletes interested in joining the indoor track team. There will be an informational meeting after school on November 4th in the cafeteria. There will be late bus transportation provided for all those who need it. If you cannot attend, please reach out to Coach Newman snewman@penfield.edu or Coach Malik jmalik@penfield.edu for more information. The first day of the season is Monday November 30th. Please make sure you register in Family ID to participate.

  Modified Lacrosse Informational Meeting

  Attention all 7th and 8th grade athletes who are interested in playing Modified Lacrosse this spring!

  There will be an informational meeting regarding off season events on Monday, November 2 in the Bay Trail Cafeteria with Coach Chaddock and Coach Tota. The meeting will begin at 3:00 PM and conclude at 3:40 PM.

  Please bring your laptop.

  International Club Diwali

  International Club will be celebrating Diwali on Tuesday, November 3^rd. Diwali is known as the festival of lights. This holiday symbolizes the victory of knowledge over ignorance and light over darkness. Come to the meeting and make a Diwali lantern. Space is limited, so go to room 111 and sign up today.

  Be yourself. Support each other. Change the world (or at least the school 😉). OQSA is a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ students and allies to connect, laugh, and create positive change together.   Patriot podcasters, come join us for our next meeting on Thursday, October 29th. We will start brainstorming and creating our own podcasts—no experience necessary! No need to sign-up. Come to Ms. Kulpinski's room 508 after school if you are interested.

  The Grapevine, Bay Trail's online student newspaper, will hold a staff meeting tomorrow (Thursday) after school in Room 301. New members are welcome.

  6th grade family trivia night has been POSTPONED until Friday, November 6th. 6th graders can buy tickets at their FLEX period in the 6th grade office! $10 per family.

  Halloween Concert

  Want to get into the spooky Halloween spirit? Come to the Halloween concert featuring the 8th grade band and high school wind ensemble this Thursday at 7PM in the High School auditorium. Costumes highly encouraged. There will be trick-or-treating in the hallways after the show. Hope to see you there!

  Attention all Singing in the Rain Jr. cast, crew, and pit members! The T-shirt order window has been extended until Friday, October 30.   Red Ribbon Week

  
  

  As we continue Red Ribbon Week, remember: “Make A Difference. Be A Hero. Stay Drug Free. ™” True

  heroes don’t follow the crowd—they lead with confidence. You don’t need drugs to fit in or stand out.

  Being yourself, making healthy choices, and respecting who you are is what real courage looks like. Be

  proud of the hero you are becoming.

  Look for a table in lunches with trivia questions and red glow bracelets.

  All week there will be a Hero Duck Hunt at school! Search the hallways and common areas to find plastic ducks, dressed as super heroes. There are new ducks each day. You CANNOT claim a prize or look for ducks during an assigned class period. If you find one, bring it to Room 308 during your lunch or a free period (or after school) to claim a prize!!

  Tomorrow's spirit day theme is "Camo Day- Drugs Can't find me". Wear your favorite camouflage clothes.

  Veterans Day Donation Drive

  In honor of Veterans Day, please consider supporting local veterans by donating new items, such as shampoo, soap, and paper products, to Mrs. Baskin in room 204 from October 26 to November 6. You can also write a gratitude postcard for veterans. Cards are available in all offices. All donations and cards will be delivered to veterans at the Canandaigua VA Hospital. Thank you for helping us give back!
